Exclusive Ilumen 42M Tri-Deck Preview & 20 Years Anniversary

At the 20 Years Anniversary party during Cannes Yachting Festival, Dominator Yachts presented an exclusive preview of the 42M Ilumen Tri-Deck Ilumen under construction.

#BeBold - The new Ilumen 42M Tri-Deck will be a category-buster in multiple ways

It’s the first sleek and sexy yacht of its size with the capacity to cross the Atlantic with a range of 4.500 nautical miles at 11kn in the Semi-Displacement version!

Beyond its ability to do transatlantic crossings, the Mini-Explorer, offered as Semi-Displacement and Displacement Hull, will be the only one in its class with a Touch-and-go Helipad option on the bow - usually only reserved for bigger megayachts.

M/Y PEPPERMINT will represent the Dominator Ilumen's bespoke philosophy at its best: each Deck is inspired by a different continent.

The flybridge for example has a Middle Eastern theme, with subdued colors, a relaxing ambience and even a hookah lounge as well as a traditional bar. Imagine a soothing café in Marrakech, and you get the idea and feel the vibe.

The upper deck has an Asian feel and is dedicated to a lifestyle and detox area complete with a yoga studio, workout room, smoothie bar and expansive windows for endless views of the ocean.

Large glass walls and windows, contemporary decor and an office - the owner plans to spend long periods aboard the yacht and has equipped it with a teleconference screen, printers, scanners and the like - it resembles a modern, loft-style penthouse in the heart of Manhattan but in the middle of the sea.

One of the most unique features will be the fully integrated glass shower next to the owner’s bed. Taking a shower in the master bedroom while anchored at bay will feel like becoming one with the element water.

The aft cockpit, main salon and galley are designed in an European motif, showcasing contemporary art from Milan and featuring large open spaces, an elegant fit and finish, and a seamless transition between the interior and exterior.

The owner's passion for travelling the world influences the design of each area. The idea was to bring in as many different people and life paths as possible, creating a melting pot of stories inside the yacht through multicultural guests aboard and outside the yacht through exciting travel destinations she will cruise to.
